I’ve been minifying my blog and one thing i ran into was the fact that W3TC kept using the same minified CSS file (Even after installing YUI compressor, changing compressor, changing my style.css, etc..)<\/p>\n

Then it hit me, every single time I ‘clear my cache’ it didn’t clear\u00a0anything. So the culprit is probably memcache.<\/p>\n

TL;dr :\u00a0here’s how to flush your memcache!<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Log into your machine through SSH<\/li>\n
  2. While inside, telnet the memcache daemon
    \n
    tiago@alfred:~# telnet 127.0.0.1 11211<\/code><\/pre><\/li>\n
  3. Once you are in, you should see:
    \n
    Trying 127.0.0.1...\r\nConnected to 127.0.0.1.\r\nEscape character is '^]'.<\/code><\/pre><\/li>\n
  4. Now, just type flush_all <\/strong>as a command and press the ENTER<\/strong> key<\/li>\n
  5. You should see\u00a0the response OK<\/strong><\/li>\n
  6. Once that is done, just type quit<\/strong>\u00a0to quit! and you should see\u00a0Connection closed by foreign host.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
    And you’re set! The next website load should take a while as W3TC is re-minifying everything now!<\/p>\n
